Identify the material before estimating its value
Platinum group metal scrap can include documented platinum-, palladium-, rhodium-, iridium- or ruthenium-bearing materials. The equipment name alone does not establish composition. Separate alloy grades, coatings and support materials, and keep manufacturer records or previous assay reports with the lot.
Information for a recycling enquiry
Send photographs, the material or equipment specification, net weight and storage location. Identify contamination and any handling restrictions.
