How to disassemble an used electrolyzer?
Disassembly and disassembly of electrolytic cells is a common task in production; this process typically requires careful planning to ensure safe and efficient disassembly of the electrolytic cell equipment. The specific steps are as follows:

Preliminary work: Before disassembling the electrolytic cell, workers must first determine the scope and procedures for disassembly, as well as the required equipment and materials. Safety and risk assessments must also be conducted to ensure safe work.

Power-off Cleaning and Safe Disassembly: Completely disconnect the electrolytic cell from the power supply and perform an acid wash to remove any residual electrolyte and debris. Use specialized tools to disassemble the cell structure and carefully remove the anode assembly.

Physically Separate the Titanium Mesh Matrix: Cut and separate the titanium anode mesh from the electrode frame, and vibrate through screening to remove mechanical impurities such as welding slag and graphite debris.

Pyrolysis: High temperatures (800-1000°C in an inert atmosphere) further decompose the organic coating and residue, separating the titanium matrix from the precious metal coating.
