The customer and the material
An existing customer introduced Huatuo to Pieter, a scrap metal recycler in Pakistan. Before travelling to Islamabad, the team discussed titanium anode scrap accumulated at factories working with him. The original project account records approximately 100 tonnes reported by the customer; this is not a statement of the final accepted or settled weight.
Agreeing the recycling plan
The discussions covered the anodes’ service history, condition and the customer’s requirements. Huatuo and the customer reviewed the collection schedule, handling arrangements, payment and transport port before starting work. The plan treated the material as retired anodes from ion-exchange membrane electrolyzers, rather than assuming a precious-metal grade from the equipment name.
Site assessment and collection
The team inspected the electrolyzer equipment and assessed the material on site, then proceeded with the planned dismantling and collection. The existing case account records a completed recycling operation and the customer’s interest in further cooperation. It does not provide a final assay, settlement weight or recovery percentage, so no such figures are claimed here.
Discussing a similar batch
For a similar recycling enquiry, provide the equipment type, anode specifications, available photos, approximate quantity and storage location. Note residual chemicals and any handling restrictions so that assessment and collection arrangements can be discussed before shipment.
